IC&RC has cooperative relationships with some professional organizations in the field to provide value-added services to our Member Boards.

The Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network (www.fightRXabuse.org) has developed technology for the treatment and medical communities as well as a community monitoring process to temper the increase of the abuse.

The American College of Addictionology & Compulsive Disorders - American College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders provides training programs that prepare healthcare professionals with the skills required to become this nation’s primary intervention resource in addiction intervention, treatment and management.  The program will allow the participant to gain the most significant experience available.  Additionally, the program is the only recognized international multidisciplinary educational initiative that offers all healthcare and related professionals the highest level in addiction certification available and has been providing Board Certification for over 16 years.

Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT)/University of Nevada, Reno, offers in-person trainings, institutes, conferences, and distance learning in a variety of media formats, as well as academic (for credit) programs in gambling prevention, substance abuse prevention, substance abuse treatment and related fields. CASAT is a center at a non-profit, academic institution and our goal is to provide training, technical assistance, evaluation, research, and other services to support prevention, treatment and recovery in the alcohol and other drugs field.  Contact information: 866-617-2818 or www.casat.unr.edu.

KAP eLearing - The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA’s) Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) offers online continuing education for substance abuse treatment professionals. These courses are made available through the Knowledge Application Program (KAP). The online courses are designed to provide you with an opportunity for professional growth and the continuing education units (CEU) hours you need to maintain certification or licensure.

Laban's Home Study Trainings - Provides approved home study trainings for many of our Member Boards.  Please check the website for details on which boards have provided approval.
